"A Single Leaf"
So imagine an almost
stark naked tree, with one
little leaf left to fall.
All the sudden a lite breeze
causes that single leaf to
hit the ground,
So um can you hear that
loneliness when it hits the ground?
It's a pondering thought
to wonder just how lonely
a single leaf is felt.
Was it left hanging there
because it liked the feeling
of being lonely?
I know you're probably
laughing at my imagery
I just put into your head,
but hey this is a simple effect
of how lonely feels to those
who are going through a
bout' of loneliness!
It's kind of like hearing an echo
from a mountain top or
bouncing off of a wall
when you feel left
all alone. Loneliness can
be heard, and it's a silent
feeling to feel.
Loneliness can fall, and
when it does, it's a loud
sound, not really soft and low.
Lonely speaks in volumes,
and when someone is lonely
that is around you and they
don't say anything but you
can tell by the way they are.
Lonely has a voice in itself.
Reach out to the lonely
pray with them and
remember them in your prayers.
Don't let them feel so lonely
like a single leaf left alone.
